![]() Nurturing Peatland brought mixed results from initial testing. ![]() ![]() Remember that Spellbomb also cycles for 2 mana in the worst case, just like Unearth. The result is that we would only exchange the reanimation ability with a GY hating ability. It might be smart to replace Unearth with Nihil Spellbomb as mainboard hate against this deck. Right now, we do see Hogaak having a massive impact on the format. I could even see not playing any copies of Unearth at all. That combined with the fact that we do not tend to play excessive amounts of creatures in our deck, made me cut down on it. The idea of Unearth is to cycle it in those situations, but it overall felt a bit too clunky. In the case of Unearth, I felt that drawing multiple copies lead to awkward situations in non-interactive matchups. Unearth and Nurturing Peatland can be liabilities in certain situations. Right off the bat, I did realize this list was a bit ambitious. As a matter of fact, I did publish the first draft of a Jund list how I thought it would be, which looks like this: First Draft Lands (23) This could change the deck completely going forward. Six new additions to the deck are quite a lot.
